number of the person you are calling as well as your name, and 1-800-COLLECT does the rest. When
the person you are calling accepts the charges, you will be connected and can start talking.
Can I make a 1-800-COLLECT call to someone’s mobile telephone (cellphone)?

have contracted with 3G Collect to offer service for calls to some mobile and VoIP* numbers. These calls
are automatically transferred to 3G Collect without any change or affect on our service.

If I accept a 1-800-COLLECT call, how will I be billed, and what will I see on my Credit Card Statement?
Depending on how you made your call, you will see a different charge on your credit card statement.
Below you can see how different types of calls are billed:

MOBILE
LANDLINE
VoIP*

For most calls billed to a landline telephone, charges for 1-800-COLLECT calls will automatically
appear on the telephone bill of the customer accepting the charges in a section labeled "NOS" (Network
Operator Services), which is a third-party service provider used by 1-800-COLLECT to bill some calls.
The local telephone bill will include the following details of your calls: date for each collect call along with
applicable taxes and fees. 1-800-COLLECT will bill the customer accepting the charges where there is
no billing agreement with the person’s local telephone company. Whether billed directly or through a
third-party, 1-800-COLLECT will always provide the call details, including time, length, charges and a
customer care number you can call to discuss the charges. For calls made from a landline or payphone
to a mobile telephone, the completed call, including call details, will appear on the mobile bill of the party
accepting the call. When a 1-800-COLLECT call is made to a person’s mobile telephone, they will
receive an SMS text message informing them of the charges along with payment instructions, so they will
have this information before they accept the call. Where calls are made to customers with VoIP service,
they will receive an invoice with payment instructions. In some cases you will be contacted by a 3G
Collect customer service agent with payment instructions. For calls to VoIP numbers, payment options will also be provided before the call is completed.
What should I do if I have questions about charges on my bill?

your question.
Does 1-800-COLLECT offer other payment methods to help me complete a call?

1-800-COLLECT offers three payment methods to help get your call through:

Direct billing: With this payment method, the person you are calling accepts the charges.
They will then appear on their telephone bill with call details and a customer care number. Note
that charges will appear on the telephone bill either as 1-800-COLLECT or in some cases, by
third-party vendors used by 1-800-COLLECT, including NOS or 3G Collect. The customer care
number provided can be used to resolve any questions, regardless of whether or not a third-party
vendor was used;

Third party billing: 1-800-COLLECT calls can be charged to a different landline number
than the one you are calling. Third party billing can come in handy, for example, when you are
calling a brother or sister but would rather have your parents pay for the call. In this case, the
charges must be accepted by someone at the landline number before the call can be completed to
a different telephone number.

Card billing: 1-800-COLLECT calls can also be charged to a telephone calling card or credit
card instead of the telephone number called. 1-800-COLLECT accepts local phone company
calling cards. Cards accepted for billing include debit and credit cards issued by VISA,
MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Note: 1-800-COLLECT has contracted with 3G Collect to offer its collect service to cellular telephones
and VoIP numbers. After acceptance by the receiving number, 3G Collect will connect the call of up to 30
minutes. The called party has two options to pay for the charges:

1. By check sent to 3G Collect billing address.
2. By credit card.
